A Hertfordshire public relations and marketing agency has been shortlisted for a top industry award.
Strand PR, based in Barkway near Royston, has been named as a finalist in The Drum Roses Awards for Agency of the Year.
The recognition comes hard on the heels of Strand being named in the UK’s top 15 digital agencies also by The Drum, a global media platform and the biggest marketing website in Europe.
Strand PR, which specialises in public relations and digital marketing, was founded in 2012 by managing director Laura Pearce. Over the past 10 years, she has grown the business with clients including national challenger banks and international 3D printing firms. She has also helped market companies from within the personal finance, retail and hospitality sectors.
The 32-year-old said: “We’ve always received incredible feedback, but to have been shortlisted for a Drum Award is such a huge honour. It has been a very difficult couple of years for a number of our clients and knowing that we have been able to support them through those challenging times makes all the hard work worthwhile.”
Earlier this year, Strand PR helped the Fox and Duck in Therfield to be named Digital Pub of the Year at the Greene King Pub Partners’ Night of Excellence Awards ceremony.
Ivan Titmuss, landlord of pub, said: “Strand PR is responsible for at least a 30 per cent growth for my business. My pub has a superior social media following in the area due to their work and creative and strategic ideas.”
The award for agency of the year will be selected through a rigorous research process taken from client recommendations, industry peers and additional The Drum research sources. The winner will be crowned at a live awards show on Tuesday, June 7 in Manchester.
