Email marketing supports growth of subscription model

We see the rise in Netflix, Spotify and other tech-based subscription models but they’re not the only ones looking to provide high-quality services through this model.

When founder and director Bob Edwards wanted to grow his subscription base, he contacted Strand PR.

Landmark PD has been provided low-cost, high-value resources to UK accountancy firms for decades. The founder Bob Edwards is a qualified accountant who is motivated to support firms in improving client services through innovative ideas and easy-to-apply tools.

Bob has built and sold two practices from a standing start since he first acted for small business owners way back in the Thatcher period. He has witnessed three-day weeks, numerous recessions but nothing to match the current coronavirus disruption. He still looks after a few clients to keep his toe in the water.

What we did

Following a deep dive into the brand and its future objectives, we analysed existing strategies and proposed a six-month email marketing strategy to drive website visits, email engagement, open rate, and, ultimately, conversions.

With prior experience supporting accountancy firms, payroll bureaus among other financial institutions, Strand PR brought market experience and insight to the campaign.

 

The Results

Within the first six weeks of commission, Strand PR increased the subscriber base by 60 per cent.
