OUR BRIEF
Lawrence Dean Recruitment approached us in February 2021 at a difficult time for the recruitment sector. Post-pandemic, businesses were returning to something approaching normality and, in many cases, they needed to hire quickly, but candidates were thin on the ground. Lawrence Dean wanted our help to boost client enquiries.
In the last year I can attribute over four times return on investment from the money that we’ve invested in them. It’s also wonderful having your own sounding board for all things marketing and PR.

The Stevenage-based recruitment company was founded in 2010 by Kelly Notley and Sarah Leete. The company, a former winner of Most Promising New Business at the Inspiring Hertfordshire awards, is proud to have 92 per cent repeat clients with 84 per cent of the people it found permanent work for still employed at the company it placed them with.
WHAT WE DID
Although a successful and respected business, the recruitment landscape was changing rapidly and outside of lockdowns, firms were grappling to recruit enough staff to satisfy demand. As everyone returned to work, candidates often received a better offer at the last minute.
Our task was to deliver a cost-effective campaign that increased Lawrence Dean’s client bank.
Starting from scratch, we built and optimised the company’s first Google Ads campaign, including sparkling new content and highly targeted keywords.
We regularly reviewed the conversions to analyse what was working and we produced comprehensive monthly reports, not just on the campaigns, but on the brand’s overall digital performance.
Our in-house digital specialist has monthly calls to discuss campaign performance and make suggestions for improvements or for expansion of a campaign.
THE RESULTS
Over the past 18 months, we have seen not only the clicks, but, more importantly, the conversions continue to rise:
